I spent yesterday in the fridge.

No, really. Defrosting the bastard was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I don't think it had ever been defrosted before. The freezer part was basically a huge block of ice with a tiny hole in the middle for a bag of frozen chips. Now it is de-iced - unlike me, who had more ice all over me by the end than a snowman. Still, at least it cooled me down!

The ghost seems to have rearranged the washing overnight, which was very kind of her but putting a t-shirt on top of a tea towel does not lend itself to making either of them dry.

Ghosts should leave washing to the living. Fact.

I accidentally got some ice down my front when I got a bag of frozen sweetcorn out of the freezer the other night. And lovely it felt in this heat too!

Defrosting the fridge is up there with ironing on my list of very unliked domestic chores.

Yeah, but those casserole dishes are a bugger sometimes. If any souls in limbo want to help me after a chicken chasseur, then they're more than welcome!

She only seems to like clothes, not dishes! Sorry about that, my love! :)

I like food that doesn't have to be defrosted! Like if you just buy it from the store and its warm already! I usually end up putting it in the microwave, frozen or not, and then when I do, it gets cooked around the edges and still frozen in the middle. I'm not much of a chef, but it's already done. Good to know.

Your ghost. When she puts the washing in the dryer, what do you think she picks the clothing up with? Right, when you stack them, the warm air never rises through the second shirt, probably, because it is too wet.

I had to do something like that before moving house. I did not merely defrost I scrubbed and cleaned as well.
There doesn't seem to be ghosts here which some might see as surprising given the age of this house. There are plenty of djins in the alleyway I use to get to university and back though and they aren't as nice as djins usually are either.
